MHR MOHAIR SOCKS

Beat the blisters. Tried and tested

Ive been testing these mohair trail-running socks over the past few months and I think they would be perfect for walkers, hikers or anyone else who spends a lot of time on their feet.

“You feel the difference the moment you put them on. Mohair is silkier than cotton, which means the fibres slide over your skin better, minimizing chafe and reducing the chance of blisters

Runners World, MHR Trailrunning June, 2010

MHR is the new name on the trail running scene in South Africa. A locally made product that is a precise blend of natural mohair and bamboo. The mohair allows twisting and pulling without breakage and the smooth and natural fibres are more chafe and blister resistant.

They feel natural and like they will last forever. Worked well in a three-day stage race in wet and sandy conditions” Available atThe Runner Group Stores (Cape Runner, Beford Runner)

MHR and Cape Mohair joined forces with PinkDrive (SA charity involved in Breast Cancer screening and education). Cape Mohair provided the pink socks in the drive for Comrades runners to wear pink (together with pink shirts, shorts, headbands and shoe laces). For each runner that was spotted in pink, Reebok donated R20 to PinkDrive.

Cape Mohair has received incredible feedback. See below for some comments.
